Patricia Lilian Feeney, born on May 13, 1937, to Len and Mons Daveson, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was a trailblazer and a pillar of her community, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia's illustrious career spanned decades, beginning with her early years in teaching. She shattered glass ceilings by becoming one of Queensland's first female high school principals, a testament to her determination and unwavering commitment to education. Following forty years of dedicated service to Education Queensland and never one for a quiet retirement, Patricia retrained as a mediator and worked for a further eight years for Lifeline, also volunteering her evenings as a crisis counsellor.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia's true essence was revealed in her selfless dedication to others. From coaching local sports in her youth to supporting numerous children through World Vision in her later years, she embodied compassion and empathy in all she did.

Patricia's love for bridge was well-known among her friends and peers, reflecting her passion for both strategy and camaraderie. A life member and former president of the Coolum Bridge Club, she is remembered for her unwavering dedication to fair play.

She is survived by her beloved husband Kevin, daughter Sarah Jane, son Simon, grandchildren Paige, Tabitha, Morgan, Declan, Jordan, and Hayden, as well as great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Harry, Hunter, Hazel, and Parker. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched and the lessons she imparted. Patricia's spirit will forever inspire those who knew her.
